I hope you’ve enjoyed all of the pictures and videos we’ve been sending you of the kids this past year. As you might expect taking pictures, uploading them to the computer then posting to a website takes lots of time… time we (I) don’t really have now that miss Sydney is part of the family. I’ve been looking for ways to update everyone with pictures of our adventures as they happen w/out having to spend too much time on the task and reduce the amount of email you get from us when things happen.
I created a mobile blog. What this lets us do is upload pictures and comments from our iPhones to the blog and from there the blog will automatically send you a single email containing all the pictures, videos and updates we’ve posted to the blog that day. You will receive a single email the following morning if we update the blog that day. You will not receive an email if nothing changes for the day. Super easy for me, less email spam from us to you and everyone can stay up to date with our goings-on.
I decided the best way to handle this ‘email notification’ to you is for you to opt-in if you want to be notified when things happen. If you don’t want to be bothered with an email but would rather just browse the site at your leisure you can do that too.
